Still Growing: Where to Find Them Now

The Marysville Farmers Market season may be over, but many of our vendors are still busy throughout the region. We’re beginning with just a few of the farms and growers who brought fresh vegetables, berries and mushrooms to Marysville this season—and sharing where you can continue shopping with them now.

Midgarden Farm

Midgarden Farm first joined us during our Third Street market days, and we were delighted to welcome Jenn and Jesse back for the 2026 Marysville Farmers Market season.

Their Arlington farm grows a beautiful variety of fresh seasonal vegetables and also offers a CSA program. You can continue shopping with Midgarden Farm on Sundays at the Everett Farmers Market—or follow them to learn more about purchasing directly from the farm.

YouMushroom

Jason Hammond’s YouMushroom brought the fascinating world of mushrooms to the Marysville Farmers Market this season.

You can continue shopping with Jason at the Everett Farmers Market, where you’ll find fresh specialty mushrooms, mushroom foods and drinks, grow kits, and more. YouMushroom also has a year-round shop and urban farm on Rucker Avenue in Everett, created to help people learn how to grow and incorporate mushrooms and other natural foods into everyday life.

Our Family Farm

Our Family Farm brought the flavors of the Skagit Valley to the Marysville Farmers Market this season—but the Hulbert family’s farming story began more than a century ago. The family has farmed in the Skagit Valley since 1909. Today, fourth-generation farmers Michael and Dane continue that tradition through Our Family Farm LLC, established in 2017 on Fir Island.

Along with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and other specialty berries, they grow corn, squash, pumpkins, rhubarb and beautiful dahlias. You can continue shopping with Our Family Farm at farmers markets throughout the region, including the Everett Farmers Market. Visit their website to find a market near you.

Hayton Farms Berries

Hayton Farms Berries brought a colorful selection of Skagit Valley berries to the Marysville Farmers Market this season—but the Hayton family has been farming on Fir Island since 1876.

Now in its fifth generation, the farm specializes in strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and many varieties of raspberries—including red, yellow and black—as well as tayberries, loganberries and hardy kiwi. The family also grows potatoes and raises grass-fed beef and lamb.

You can find Hayton Farms at farmers markets throughout the region, including the Everett Farmers Market. You can also visit their Fir Island farm stand, open daily from April through October, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Did You Know Strawberry Season Continues into the Fall?

Our local growers will continue harvesting strawberries for as long as the weather cooperates. Once the rain settles in and the berries begin turning gray, the season comes to its natural end—so enjoy these late-season berries while you can!
